The Enid Metropolitan Area Human Services Alliance was founded in 1987 as a joint
venture of major funding and service entities aimed at:
♦ Identifying urgent community problems
♦ Researching existing programs as possible solutions to local problems
♦ Making the best use of available funds
♦ Reducing duplication of effort
♦ Encouraging and coordinating joint community service initiatives
♦ Involving local citizens in solving local problems
